On April 11th, the theme on-site meeting of "Comprehensive Lean • Improvement and Innovation" for the first quarter of 2024 of FAWSN was held at FAWSN Automotive Lighting Company. Group President Jing Qingchun, Vice President Sun Jun, Vice President Bao Yazhong, Vice President Liu Xue, Acting Director of the Department of Intelligence and Technology Wang Sirui, General Managers and Deputy General Managers of all affiliated companies of the group attended the meeting. At the meeting, Wang Sirui gave a report on the operational performance of FAWSN in the first quarter, analysis of the production needs of major customers, and deployed the next steps of work; FAWSN Automotive Lighting Company presented and introduced case studies on laboratory capability improvement, SAP application achievement sharing, E009 project gross profit margin improvement, NAT&H5 headlight assembly line flexible production transformation, and Q3NF headlight assembly line automation enhancement. Attendees participated in on-site observation and exchange.
Mr. Bao summarized the on-site improvement case sharing of FAWSN Automotive Lighting Company, emphasizing that the purpose of holding the "Comprehensive Lean • Improvement Innovation" quarterly on-site meeting is to showcase and introduce improvement cases on site, so that the group's affiliated companies can pay more attention to on-site improvement. Through sharing among enterprises, mutual learning and growth can be achieved, and operational management capabilities can be improved, so that operational work can be integrated with management; Emphasizing lean improvement is always the theme of enterprise development and the foundation of supporting the enterprise. It is necessary to solidify on-site improvement cases and expand them horizontally to enhance the operational and management capabilities of the enterprise.
Mr. Jing, on behalf of the management team, acknowledged the achievements of the group's operations in the first quarter, recognized the implementation of major issues of focus by the group by FAWSN Automotive Lighting, and acknowledged the effectiveness of relevant improvement cases demonstrated and introduced on site. At the same time, he proposed the establishment of a methodology for improving project gross profit margins and the creation of a case library for flexible production transformation of production lines, forming FAWSN's strategy.
Mr. Jing emphasized in the end that firstly, the on-site meeting on the theme of "Comprehensive Lean, Improvement and Innovation" should be held continuously every quarter; Secondly, led by the Department of Intelligence and Technology, we will carry out a horizontal display of improvement cases to promote the rapid improvement of operational management capabilities of FAWSN in the areas of "comprehensive lean and improvement innovation"; Thirdly, we will organize special project proposals to tackle common issues faced by the companies under FAWSN, and utilize FAWSN's resources to focus on improving and enhancing their business and operational capabilities.
